TH0071

TH0071 – This is the illustration I used as the cover of the Terminal Hair book. I drew it knowing I’d be printing colored ink on kraft paper, so 1. it would be a little mottled and 2. the paper would be a midtone. I think it turned out really nicely in the print with the calligraphic letters printed on top in green.

TH0070

TH0070 – I really like soft puppy play–I think it’s really cute. But it can veer into too theatrical quickly. Always got to be wary of capitalism encroaching into sexuality, too. THAT SAID, the dom/sub nature is really endearing. I love seeing a pup and his handler go all out and keep character. One of my favorite parts of Bent-Con (a gay comic convention of yore) was that you could see a Green Lantern and a pup/handler combo right next to each other. Or heck, even as a pup/handler GL thing. (Guy Gardner and G’Nort? Okay maybe not. G’Nort is kinda gross.)

TH0065

TH0065 – The versatility of a 2B, 2mm lead is not to be underestimated. Thin lines, thick lines, light marks, dark marks. It’s kind of impressive how much you can do with it. I need to find some inking tools that can do as much.

TH0040

TH0040 – Just a hairy daddy. I really enjoyed the doing the hair on this one for some reason. The right lines kept flowing out of my pencil.

TH0039

TH0039 – Jed Jones, a smaller character from my Untitled SF comic series. Los his arm and partner in a Capitalist Separatist terrorist attack on the first Martian space elevator. Not a fan of his prosthetic arm, so frequently forgoes it.
