TH0255

TH0255 A quick underdrawing for a promo image I had to throw together really quickly. Ended up using it as a proof of concept drawing for a potential new workflow for myself where I print it out as bluelines and then ink on top. I’m a bit late to the game there.

TH0250

TH0250 To celebrate a quarter-of-a-thousand posts on Chest Pelt, here’s a Cyborg Daddy drawing (that I don’t think is conceptually strong enough to stand with the others. I think I’d like it more if I gave him some different limbs, which of course is totally the character’s strength).

TH0245

TH0245 Continuing the thread of the edge line rendering from a few drawings back, the hairy legs advance the idea. I pulled it into the arms a little, too. But clearly this was a drawing to get out some residual chest hair energy.

TH0242

TH0242 Another of Stevom84. One where I actually managed to get a relatively okay likeness too. Definitely more life in the eyes. He was wearing leather in this one, which is off brand for him, but I think it’s a little more forgiving to render.

TH0240

TH0240  The first of a few drawings of Stevom84, a handsome rubberman living in Glasgow. I get a lot of comparisons to Tom of Finland when people see my Terminal Hair drawings–understandable since it’s dudes in pencil. So I figured it would be interesting to dip my toe in to some fetish gear drawings. Always good to explore various textures and rendering styles, and I sure as heck haven’t drawn rubber before.

I didn’t quite capture his likeness here.

TH0231

TH0231  Some friends on twitter started a “Space Daddy Friday” hashtag and asked if I wanted to do one and hell yes obviously let me in on that. So here was my space daddy holding some kind of Kirbyesque machine.

TH0230

TH0230  A study of a really interesting body type. Lean and built, but so skinny? That plump, pumped look is hard to capture in lines alone, so the wider pencil lead does some heavy lifting here.

TH0215

TH0215 Circa 2012, Reneee watercoloring my lines. This was during her Green/Purple/Blue wash phase. I ain’t complaining. I also never really liked that outfit.
